What we do
What we do
- Organise guest speakers on a wide range of subjects both local interest and much wider
- Arrange excursions, theatre visits and other social events
- Keep a watching brief on local planning and development
- Provide a village voice in response to local issues
- Work with the parish council and other local groups
- Preserve and expand the Societies unique photographic record of the village
The Societies activities are organised by a committee of willing local people who are elected annually at the AGM.
Subscription is only £2.00 per annum - great value
