Both are back and ready to entertain you: the art@gravellybarn summer exhibition, and, by popular request, a return of the popular band Soul Kitchen, both over the summer bank holiday weekend. This is the fourth year running that we have held out summer exhibition, each year getting bigger and better and attracting visitors from all over the Home Counties and beyond. This year’s show, featuring a vibrant collection of paintings, sculpture, jewellery, contemporary basket making, pottery, photography and many other attractions, runs from Saturday August 23 until Monday August 25. All the work, created by local artists, will be for sale, and refreshments will be available all weekend. Also on Saturday evening Soul Kitchen will be bringing their own unique musical style to Gravelly Barn, in Gravelly Lane. Bring a picnic and drink, tables, chairs or blankets and eat and dance the night away. Tickets are now on sale at £15 each and £5 for children 16 and under, including admission to the art show during the evening. A Champagne and Wine Bar will be provided by wine2laydown.com, with wine by the glass or bottle, and D White Butchers will be holding a barbecue featuring their world famous Braughing sausages!
