They were certainly the most eye catching pair of wheel-barrow racers there, dressed in white nurse uniforms, fake bums, fake breasts and a siren on the wheelbarrow! Giles Peeters (left) and Ade Jones are captured here with me in the middle. BAA Stansted sponsored them £300 to race. The money went to Cystic Fibrosis (CF). What is Cystic Fibrosis? Well, let me tell you from someone who knows... My name is Aisling O'Regan, I'm 14 and have CF. The main problem CF gives me is with my lungs and digestion. Everyday I have to get my chest bashed so I can get rid of some of the permanent infection in my lungs. Every time I eat I have to swallow some capsules that break down the food in my stomach. I go into Addenbrookes about 5 times a year and know all the nurses and who their boyfriends are! Otherwise my life is pretty normal and I enjoy singing to backing tracks or with WildFire (with my Mum, Dad and big brother) I really appreciate what Giles and Ade did at the wheelbarrow race.
