The day was perfect for a picnic concert with nice warm weather. We welcomed about 180 people from all over Hertfordshire to what has become an annual event. Conductor David Boarder, leader Sophie Ivison and the East Herts Youth Orchestra performed a lively medley of music ranging from Vivaldi to Lennon and McCartney. The audience joined in with many of the lighter medleys which made the whole event so much fun. It was wonderful to see the youth of Hertfordshire so dedicated to their music and clearly enjoying every moment. We at Braughing are so thankful to David for supporting music in our community and his continuing support of fund raising events in this and surrounding villages. .jpg)

On a very hot Sunday evening, the 2nd July, a very special service took place at St Mary’s Church in Braughing. The sound of guitars, keyboard, violin, flute and vocals raised the roof with wonderful Christian music. The service organised by young members of the Parish and surrounding parishes was a great success. |
