Hertfordshire County Council Temporary traffic management measures in various roads in Puckeridge

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14[1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:-

1 - To prohibit all traffic from using that length of B1368 Station Road, Puckeridge from its junction with the A10 roundabout south eastwards to its junction with Buntingford Road, a distance of approximately 300 metres.

The alternative route for traffic will be via:- B1368 [Station Road, Green End, Hay Street, (unnamed road)], B1038 (Hare Street Road, High Street, Baldock Road), A10 Buntingford Bypass, A10 and vice versa

2 - To prohibit all vehicles from being driven at a speed exceeding 40mph on the northbound carriageway of the A10, Puckeridge from its junction with the A120 Standon Hill roundabout north eastwards to its junction with the B1368 Station Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 1232 metres.

3 - To prohibit all vehicles from being driven at a speed exceeding 10mph on the northbound carriageway of the A10/ B1368 Station Road roundabout, Puckeridge from a point 25 metres west of its junction with B1368 Station Road clockwise and northwards to its junction with Hamels Lane, a distance of approximately 770 metres.

The purpose of the Order is to enable carriageway resurfacing works to take place. It is anticipated that the temporary traffic management measures will each be in place for up to 4 days, sometime during the period 3 September 2007 and 6 September 2007, when signs are in place.
