A distraction burglary occurred in The Bourne, Albury between 1400 and 1500 hours on Saturday 7th June. Offender knocked on the door stating he was doing work in the drains and needed to check her water. Suspect was a white male, approx. 5'5" tall, 20-30 years old, medium build with short blonde hair, clean shaven, wearing a light T-shirt and dark trousers. Please remind everyone, particularly the vulnerable and elderly, not to open the door to anyone they don't know and if you see or hear anything suspicious then please ring the police immediately on 0845 33 00 222.
