We are planning to have a service for everyone in the village in St Mary’s on Sunday 26th April at 5.30pm  to give thanks to God for our village and to pray for all its activities including the shops and pubs, the small businesses, the social and cultural clubs and societies, the sporting activities and Community Centre, the school and our young people, the animals, ducks and geese, and of course the churches. We are hoping people will want to contribute in the service – perhaps with a reading, choosing a suitable hymn or saying a prayer. We would also like organisations to offer an A4 page with information about themselves which we will put on a display board in church – so that all can see how rich our village life is.

Diary the date now. More details will be coming out shortly, but if you belong to an organisation and would like to be involved, do get in touch with the vicar or begin to think about designing an A4 sheet!
