Good News! The planning application which invloved such large numbers of lorries using the B1368 has been withdrawn. It is understood that based on the info passed by local Parish Councils and their site visit, the level of opposition from the PC’s with particular emphasis on the transport, planning conditions that granted the golf course in the first place, the omission to mention the closure of a bridlepath the method of creating the site that resulted in this decision It was clear this was a Landfill exercise under the guise of a “development”. There were just so many “barriers” put up in the letters of objection that the applicant would be forced to do a lot more work to gain acceptance to their plans. |
