Having an extension built on the side of a Grade I listed church dating back to Saxon times has its problems and one of those is the Archeological discoveries.  The St Mary's Church Braughing Restoration Trust commissioned a watching brief over the period of groundworks construction and the report, by Mark Landon, makes very interesting reading.
